Big Oaks National Wildlife Refuge

Come enjoy a national bird sanctuary at Big Oaks! Big Oaks National Wildlife Reserve was designated as a Globally Important Bird Area as a result of its importance to migratory birds. The park is just five miles north of Madison on Highway 421. Portions of the refuge are open for wildlife observation, photography, hiking, fishing, hunting, interpretation, and environmental education.
