Small or large custom log cabins, glamping and camping
Convenience kitchen - Each cabin has a small fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee pot. There is a charcoal grill outside as well (there is no stove or oven in the cabins). Our all-inclusive packages include three meals, so the kitchen is rarely used with all-inclusive guests. Other guests who are simply renting a cabin will find it easy to prepare and serve meals with the equipment and dishes we provide.
Small cabins sleep 6 people. Large cabins sleep 8-10 people.
Small cabin rates: Spring and Fall, Sun-Thur $165; Fri-Sat $185; Summer $265
Large cabin rates: Spring and Fall, Sun-Thur $275; Fri-Sat $295; Summer $370
We also have luxury glamping tents. Located along a rushing creek, our glamping tents bring back memories of yesteryear. Each is furnished with a king size bed (that can be separated into two twins, if preferred), chairs, a small table, and wood stove. The deck extends behind the tent to create a back porch area that has an antique clawfoot bathtub heated by a propane burner. An old fashioned pitcher and wash basin serve as a rustic sink. There are charcoal grills nearby in a shared area with picnic tables and a fire ring for roasting marshmallows under the stars. We have a self-composting toilet a short distance from the glamping area as well as a shared bathhouse with flushing toilet and shower, about 100 yards away. $125-135
River Dance Lodge has a beautiful campground area, complete with showerhouse. The campground is perfect if you prefer experiencing Idaho wilderness and stars from the coziness of your own tent. Only $9 per person per night.

Locally or Family-Owned Business Notes
The journey began when I (Peter) got a summer job in 1978 working as a river guide on West Virginia’s New and Gauley Rivers. In 1979, I came to Idaho to work longer trips on the Salmon and Selway Rivers. It was exciting work, meeting great people, running rapids, sleeping under the stars. I learned that dynamic things could happen on the river—magical things! It was tremendously fulfilling. In 2002, we decided to build River Dance Lodge, Idaho’s Outdoor Adventure Resort. To this end, we bought five acres that included an older restaurant building situated on the banks of the congressionally protected Wild & Scenic Clearwater River in North Central Idaho, close to the 1.3 million acre Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness Area and three miles from the historic Lewis and Clark Trail.
